Separate projects, shared authorship
Found Wanting and Rage of Fénix are distinct projects with different source material, lineages, and sounds. Both have released music on Spotify, with more work in progress.
Biblical math rock
Seven scripture passages, three albums, three sonic languages.
Found Wanting is a biblical math-rock project built around seven passages of scripture. The Son is electric, The Father is unplugged, and The Holy Spirit is conceived for a cathedral: the same texts approached through three distinct forms.
I select the passages, arrange the songs, direct production, and build the lyric videos. The name comes from Daniel 5:27: weighed in the balance and found wanting.
Post-punk and alternative rock
Thirteen songs written in Donostia from 2005 to 2009, produced for the first time in 2026.
Rage of Fénix combines raw guitars, shouted choruses, and literary roots ranging from Orwell to Melville. The lineup changed around the songs, with Miguel Tellería as the stable voice of the project.
The original tabs, MIDI arrangements, and lo-fi live recordings remain the source material. The 2026 production uses those archives together with AI-assisted production to finish the work without rewriting its history.
